“Bolivar Lighthouse” Cajun Art Print Product Details

Description

Lighthouses are the silent sentries of the sea that beckon you home.  Each had a distinctive light pattern and repeat sequence making them a welcome sight to a weary shrimper.  During the relentless pounding of a coup nord bleu (pronounced COO NU’ORd BLU and meaning blue “norther”), the steady, circular flash of a familiar lighthouse provided a feeling of safety and seemed to say “I’m here . . . I’m here . . . I’m here . . .”

This print’s artwork was chosen from a selection of illustrations Jim created for his line of Cajun autobiographical cookbooks, also called “Cotton’s Seafood.” The art is professionally printed on 140lb card stock. The print’s stock, frame, backer board, and plastic cover are all acid-free and archival quality.
