The ducks and geese of my youth were mostly objects of my hunting activities. As I attempted to draw them, they assumed a new role. With the exception of crabs, I probably enjoy drawing ducks and geese more than most other animals or objects. Ducks and geese have a certain graceful beauty that cannot be describe in words – their beauty can only be expressed in art.
This print’s artwork was chosen from a selection of illustrations Jim created for his line of Cajun autobiographical cookbooks, also called “Cotton’s Seafood.” The art is professionally printed on 140lb card stock. The print’s stock, frame, backer board, and plastic cover are all acid-free and archival quality.
