“Mallard” Cajun Art Print

Description

Although I did not hunt mallards for food as a child, I could not help being drawn to their image as a beautiful duck.  Their coloring is very distinctive and even though I only draw in black and white, the demarcation of their color lines makes for stark contrasts in shapes.

This print’s artwork was chosen from a selection of illustrations Jim created for his line of Cajun autobiographical cookbooks, also called “Cotton’s Seafood.” The art is professionally printed on 140lb card stock. The print’s stock, frame, backer board, and plastic cover are all acid-free and archival quality.
